According to business software review company TrustRadius, Sage CRM is a top-rated customer relationship management product among mid-size companies (those with 51-1,000 employees) and small businesses (1-50 employees).

For its 2015 Buyer's Guide to Customer Relationship Management Software report, the company's research team considered 12 customer relationship management (CRM) software solutions available today including Microsoft Dynamics, Infor CRM and Salesforce.

As part of this process, the researchers analysed 487 reviews and ratings by authenticated users with the vast majority of reviews sourced independently of vendors.

The authors considered how often users reviewed CRM software and their likelihood to recommend to others.

Making the decision to purchase Sage CRM

According to TrustRadius, CRM refers to both a business strategy and a software system.

CRM software should help unify and coordinate all customer-facing functions, including sales, marketing and customer service, and should provide a single source of truth for all customer data.

The report's authors concluded business owners and managers make the decision to buy CRM software because they want:

Why businesses value Sage CRM

Those deciding between CRM vendors make a decision based on factors like security, ease of use, on-premise versus cloud, scalability, usability and integration with third-party systems.The authors the report concluded that customers of Sage CRM purchase it for three main reasons:

  1. Workflow: Users like the workflow functionality, which can help streamline and control business processes. In particular, users like the search/find function, as well as the ability to take certain actions straight from a dashboard.

  2. Ease of Use: The Sage CRM interface is intuitive and user-friendly and users like the new navigation and UI.

  3. Price: Users say Sage CRM is affordable.

Based on these reviews, the authors of the TrustRadius report concluded Sage CRM is best fit for small and mid-sized companies and those using Sage ERP
